I've been doing this for at least 30 years and happily admit I'm a complete antique geek. In that time I have been asked to appraise an astonishingly wide array of items. Everything from a 1000 year old silver Viking brooch dug up in Sherwood Forest, to a jar containing the ashes of a monk recovered from Hitler's bunker in Berlin where it was one of the objects on his desk.
